With planting season having already started or soon to be underway for a lot of spring crops, let us take a look at how it used to be done back in the 1920s.
As we can see from this video, the grain was planted by horse and completely different to how it’s done nowadays with the amount of mechanisation at our disposal.
No tractors to be seen – just horses. Although this is seen to be a major change, the basic principals remain the same.
