WATCH: Timber Croc Log Holder

The Timber Croc Log Holder - designed and manufactured in Ireland – holds logs, pallets and planks of various sizes while cutting with a chainsaw.

It eliminates many of the dangers traditionally associated with log cutting, according to Des Geraghty - the Managing Director of the company.

Des maintains that the heavy-duty Timber Croc Log Holder is capable of gripping logs exceeding 200 kilograms making cutting wood a safe one-person job.

The Timber Croc utilises a patented “teeth” design to hold logs in place and it is completely self-adjusting; it will hold anything from one inch in diameter up to eleven inches in diameter, the company said.

“Also standing higher off the ground, there is enough clearance to wheel a small trailer underneath that’ll catch the falling logs, thus, saving time, backache and fatigue.” The Managing Director outlined. The Timber Croc Log Holder – which is designed copyright approved and patent-granted - is quick and simple to set up and folds for convenient transport and storage, according to the company which has teams based in France, Germany and Denmark.

“Our feedback from customers is great. We have all 5-star reviews on social media. At events, customers come up to us thanking us for producing a product that is safe and so easy to use.” Des added.

The Timber Croc Log Holder retails at €220 (inc vat and delivery) and can be purchased online here.

The company is running an exclusive offer for That’s Farming’s - if use the following voucher code - thatsfarming – you can avail of a €20 discount.
