Welcome to That’s Gardening. In this week's episode - which is brought to you in association with Paraic Horkan – we bring you tips on how to keep your roses blooming until mid-winter.
"Picking the top varieties is very important," said Paraic, who guides you through some of his best choices.
- Keep them fed with ‘Rose Food’ – Apply every fortnight
- Spray the plant with ‘Rose Rescue’ – good for the eradication of Greenfly, Blackfly and some diseases
- Trim off the old flowers – remove about 4in of the stem – gives twice as many flowers.
