EK Photography’s second DVD entitled GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK provides an insight into agricultural contracting and dairy farming in New Zealand.
Its release follows the production of a DVD based on Robinson Farms, America, in 2017.
Finch Contracting, located just outside Te Awamutu in New Zealand’s North Island features in GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK, along with dairy farmer Baz Beswick in Mid Canterbury and contractor Rabco, based in Otautau.
Speaking to That’s Farming, Eoghan Kearney of EK Photography, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, said: “Both the north and south islands of New Zealand are featured.”
“It was a really good experience to be able to go over to New Zealand again – it was my second time to visit there but my first-time filming. It’s a lovely side of the world!”
“I did all the production, directing and editing myself – it took approximately five months,” Kearney concluded.
