WATCH: Grab-n-drive!

Designed by Exac-One and manufactured in the UK, Grab N’ Drive is one of the latest concepts in post driving.

This modular system – which is designed as a plug and play attachment - allows an excavator operator to handle, place and drive posts without the assistance of a banksman, according to the company.

If required, the grab unit can be removed in minutes and a top-mounting bracket fitted to the breaker to enable its use in a traditional manner.

It can handle single or multiple posts as part of the fencing process; it can be used to select and position individual posts before being driven into the ground by the hammer.

Optionally, the unit can be supplied with a tilting device or a hydraulic diverter kit, which would enable the grab and hammer functions to be operated from one double-acting circuit.

The whole device is above the fence line, making it a suitable tool for driving intermediate posts on post and rail fencing and for maintenance work on existing fences.

Features:

  • Simple and safe post driving;

  • Compact and light-weight;

  • Tool options for different applications;

  • Visual reference system for verticality and dept;

  • Tilt options.
