Eric Driver said that prices struggled to remain at pre-Christmas levels. Cull cows sold from €120 under the kg to €675 over, while €2.00-€2.20/kg was forked out for continental bullocks.
Over 600 lots went under the hammer, with a lively trade reported by Eric Driver. A top call of €150 was recorded for in-lamb breeding sheep - genuine hoggets and 2-year-olds carrying approximately 1.8 lambs.
