Quality lots sold well, with heifers topping out at €885 over and €860 over forked out for bullocks. Plainer types also met with an improved trade, the manager noted.

A smaller entry of cattle went under the hammer, with poor demand for lighter, plainer cattle. Ewes with twin lamb hit €275, while cull ewes peaked at €125.
