Met Éireann has issued two separate Status Yellow - Rainfall warnings.
The first alert is in place for Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Offaly, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford.
“Strong and gusty southeast winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 60kmh with gusts of up to 100km/h possible - strongest about high ground.”
This warning is valid from 5am to 5pm (Monday).
A Status Yellow - Wind warning will come into effect in Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Cork and Kerry at 2am and will expire at 7pm (Monday).
Strong and gusty southeast winds are expected during the period, Met Éireann has warned.
“Means speeds of 50 to 65kmh with gusts of 90 to 110km/h - strongest in coastal areas and about high ground.”
