Wild Deers butchered by poachers in Meath
Two deer have been viciously attacked by poachers on protected lands in Meath its been revealed.
One deer was found decapitated and another was still alive when Garda arrived to the scene but had to be put down due to the extent of its injuries.
The incident happened near Slane in Meath on protected ground.
According to the Gardai there has been a recent spate of deer poaching in the Meath area.
They are appealing for witnesses.
A small light colured van was spotted acting suspiciously in the area around the time but no better description or reg available. If you know the suspects involved in deer poaching let us know who they are. Anyone with information please contact Slane Garda Station on 041-9824202.
