According to Met Éireann, although temperatures will remain above average this week, there will be some rain also.
Monday - There will be some outbreaks of rain early on Monday and it will be cloudy in general. It will brighten up in the west and northwest of the country towards the afternoon, bringing with it much fresher conditions. It will remain rather warm and humid elsewhere in the country, with a risk of patchy rain or drizzle, some heavier in the late afternoon. There will be some sunny periods also, with temperatures ranging from 18 to 25 degrees Celsius. It will be warmest in the east and southeast, with breezes light to moderate and southwesterly in direction.
Monday night will see rain and drizzle continuing in the east and southwest, though it should remain dry elsewhere apart from the occasional rain or drizzle falling in Atlantic coastal counties. Lowest temperatures overnight of 11 to 16 degrees Celsius. It will be mildest in the southeast, with breezes light and westerly in direction.
Tuesday - A much fresher day expected on Tuesday, with a mixture of cloudy and sunny periods. Winds will be light to moderate and westerly in direction. It will generally be dry, with the occasional light shower falling. Highest daytime temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees, coolest along the Atlantic coast.
Tuesday night will be dry, with some mist and fog patches forming overnight. Breezes will be light and southerly, with night time temperatures from 10 to 14 degrees.
Wednesday - It will again be dry with some good sunny spells on Wednesday, apart from the risk of rain in Atlantic coastal counties. It will generally be warm and humid, with moderate southerly breezes and some good sunny spells expected in the Midlands and East. Highest temperatures on the day should vary from 18 to 23 degrees, coolest in the West.
Thursday - Early indications suggest it is likely to be a breezy day on Thursday with some good falls of rain expected, some turning heavy along Atlantic coastal counties. It will, however, remain warm with temperatures from 18 to 24 degrees Celsius, coolest in Atlantic coastal counties. Breezes will be moderate and southerly in direction.
Friday - A fresher day forecast for Friday with breezes settling and becoming light and westerly in direction. It will generally be dry, with some good periods of sunshine forecast for the morning time. Scattered showers can be expected by afternoon time, with temperatures ranging from 17 to 22 degrees, again coolest in the west.
