Tonight will be cold and dry; some cloudy periods with long clear spells - the best of these over Munster and Leinster.
Lowest temperatures -1 to plus 2 C., with a widespread frost. A few patches of mist and fog in places also, with little or no breeze.
Tuesday - Dry and cold at night with mostly clear skies. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees with some frost over southern parts.
Wednesday - Dry and sunny according to the Irish Meteorological Service. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees, with highest values in the south-east, in light westerly breezes.
Cold at night with lowest temperatures between -1 and +5 degrees. “A slight frost is likely in Leinster and Munster”, according to Met Éireann.
Thursday - Looking largely dry and sunny also with highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees; becoming wetter towards the northwest coasts later, but elsewhere it will stay dry. Overnight lows of 3 to 7 degrees.
Friday - Rather cloudy across Connacht and Ulster with patchy light rain.
Elsewhere it looks set to remain dry with some sunshine, according to Met Éireann. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.
