Misty this morning, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle set to follow, according to Met Éireann.
It will become drier later in the day, with rain becoming more scattered as the afternoon progresses.
Temperatures will range from 8 to 10 C, dropping between 1 to 6 degrees in the night.
Some frost is expected tonight, although it will be mostly dry under broken cloud.
Tuesday - Another cloudy day with patchy rain, but overall, "a good deal of dry weather with the best of any sunny spells in the east", according to Met Éireann.
Temperatures will reach 10 to 14 degrees by day and will range from 5 to 8 degrees in the night.
Wednesday - Generally dry with some sunny spells, with the odd spot of drizzle. Mild once again, with temperatures pushing up to 11 to 16 C.
Thursday - Patchy rain and cloudy in the west and northwest, with dry weather and some brighter spells across the country; temperatures will be similar to previous days.
Friday - A breezier day, with sunny spells and high of 11 to 14 degrees Celsius, according to Met Éireann.
