Weekend weather forecast for Ireland from Met Éireann

It will be dry and sunny in most areas today (Friday, November 6th), according to Met Éireann.

It said that it will be somewhat cloudier across north Ulster and south Munster. Temperatures will reach 9 to 12 degrees, before dropping between 1 to 4 degrees tonight.

Much of the country will remain dry with clear and cold spells. There may be some fog patches, with milder and cloudier conditions expected in Munster.

Saturday

It will begin mostly dry with patchy rain set to develop in Munster during the morning. Other areas will see some mist and drizzle patches.

During the afternoon, scattered outbreaks of rain will extend northwards over the country. There will be dry weather across Ulster and north Leinster, according to the national forecaster.

It will become mild, reaching 10 to 14 degrees, before dipping to 6 to 12 degrees tomorrow night. Cloudy and misty conditions are expected, along with outbreaks of rain and drizzle.

Sunday

According to the national forecaster, it will be cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the morning. Dry intervals will develop in most areas during the day.

However, a spell of persistent rain will develop in the south-west in the evening. This will extend northwards on Sunday night. Temperatures will hit 11 to 15 degrees with lows of 11 to 13 degrees expected at night.
