The forecast service have reported a pleasantly mild and humid day, with highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, with best values across southeast Munster and south Leinster.
Tonight: The forecast to remain dry for the most part, with clear spells in the east and north.
It will become cloudier in the west overnight with a little rain or drizzle developing. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees.
Saturday: Our national forecaster predicts that it will be mild and humid with a good deal of cloud and a little patchy light rain or drizzle at times.
There'll be some bright or sunny intervals also. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees with light to moderate westerly breezes.
However, persistent rain will develop in the west on Saturday night and will spread eastwards overnight.
Sunday: Morning rain will clear eastwards, according to our meteorological service. The rest of the day will be fresh and bright with sunny spells.
Met Éireann predict some showers developing in Connacht and Ulster in the afternoon and evening.
Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate to fresh west to northwest breezes.
Outlook: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be cooler and more unsettled with bands of rain or showers spreading eastwards across the country.
Daytime temperatures will range from about 12 to 15 degrees with mostly moderate to fresh west or northwest winds.
