Met Éireann has issued two weather warnings.
A status yellow rainfall warning will come into effect in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford at 4 am on Wednesday (December 18th) and will be valid until 7 pm.
“Heavy rain will push north-eastwards on Wednesday with rainfall accumulations of 30-40mm expected with the risk of localised flooding.”
The entire country will be placed under a status yellow wind warning at 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday, December 18th).
“Southeast winds, later veering southerly will gust 90-110km/h on Wednesday, strongest in coastal areas.” the national forecaster warned.
This warning will expire at 11:59 pm tomorrow night.
