Some dry and sunny periods are expected in north Ulster and parts of south Munster this afternoon with highs of 14 to 17 degrees.

Long dry spells tonight, with scattered patches of rain and drizzle and minimum temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.

Persistent rain will develop in parts of south Munster later tonight.

Tuesday – Similar weather expected tomorrow, with mostly cloudy conditions and showery rain at times; highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees.

Some sunny intervals are expected – especially across parts of north Ulster.

Met Éireann has warned that there will be scattered outbreaks of rain overnight with some mist, drizzle, and lows of 10 to 13 degrees.

Wednesday – Although there will be a rather cloudy and damp start to the day, it is expected to brighten with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers.
