Temperatures will reach 17 degrees Celsius today, possibly a little higher locally, with lows of 1 to 4 degrees and mist and fog patches tonight, according to Met Éireann.
It will be dry and spring-like today, with spells of hazy sunshine and moderate breezes nationwide, with the exception of Atlantic coasts where south-easterly breezes will be fresh to strong.
Tuesday – It will be fairly sunny and dry in many parts, with mist and fog patches; temperatures will range from 11-16 degrees.
Wednesday – Similar conditions once again, with early mist and fog patches set to clear. Temperatures will vary from 11-15, possibly reaching 16 degrees in parts of the mid-west, Met Éireann outlined.
A few spots of drizzle overnight with mist and fog patches, with temperatures reaching 3 to 7 degrees Celsius.
Thursday - Dry and cold in the east overnight, with temperatures ranging from 1 to 4 degrees, while it will be clouder and milder in the west, with temperatures dropping between 5 to 8 degrees.
Friday – The weather will turn changeable towards the end of the week, with cloudy conditions and rain set to turn persistent in the west on Friday morning.
This will extend eastwards later in the day, with some heavy bursts possible, Met Éireann has warned.
