Sunny spells today, with scattered showers – some of which will be heavy, according to Met Éireann.
It will be mainly clear and dry tonight; however, cloud will increase later tonight with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in Connacht and parts of Munster; temperatures will range from 7 to 11 degrees.
Tuesday – A cloudy day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in the morning, before becoming drier in the afternoon and evening.
It will be mainly dry with variable cloud cover with temperatures hitting 10 to 13 Celsius.
Wednesday – Rain will extend from the Atlantic during the morning and afternoon; it will turn heavy in many areas with fresh to strong southerly winds expected.
Isolated showers will follow from the Atlantic later in the day and night, with temperatures reaching 16 to 19 Celsius.
Thursday – Some bright spells, the in the east and south, and dry in most parts of the country, according toThe Irish Meteorological Service.
It will be predominately cloudy, with some rain and drizzle to develop, mainly in parts of the west and north-west; temperatures will range from 16 to 22 degrees.
Friday – Some bright spells once again, especially in the east and south. Temperatures will rise to the low 20s in these areas, although it will not be as warm in Atlantic coastal counties; rain and drizzle possible, especially in Connacht and west Ulster.
