This morning’s outbreaks of rain will clear eastwards but may linger near the east and south coast until lunchtime, according to Met Éireann.
A mix of sunny spells and scattered showers expected for the rest of the day, with high of 18 to 21 degrees.
Friday night - A good deal of dry weather with showers in the north and north-west with temperatures dropping to 12 to 13 degrees Celsius.
Saturday – a mix of sunny periods and occasional passing showers, according to Met Éireann.
Winds will reach Gale force on north and west coasts; highs of 16 to 19 Celsius.
Sunday – Showers – some of which will be heavy and prolonged – possible with moderate to fresh and gusty south-west winds; winds will be strong along costs.
Some sunny spells between showers with temperatures set to be in the region of 16 to 18 degrees.
