Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow Weather Advisory for the whole of Ireland, with warnings of “severe weather” and the potential for “hazardous conditions”.
The Advisory comes into effect from Midnight tonight, Friday December 14th, and remains in place for the whole of Saturday. Met Éireann says this means there is a “potential for severe weather on Saturday” with a risk of spot flooding due to heavy rain.
They also warn that winds will be strong, with the potential for “damaging gusts” in northern areas later on Saturday. Heavy rains, they warn, could lead to hazardous conditions.
