Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow - Rainfall Warning for East Cork and Waterford.
The Irish Meterological Service has said that further outbreaks of rain today (Thursday) will lead to spot flooding with the highest accumulations in mountainous areas.
The warning was updated shortly after 9:30am this morning and is active until 6pm this evening.
Meanwhile, Status Yellow - Wind Warning will remain in place for Cork; Kerry; Waterford and Wexford until 2pm this afternoon (Thursday).
South-easterly winds will reach mean speeds between 50-60km/hr at time, with gusts between 90 and 100km/hr; winds will be strongest along coastal areas, Met Éireann has warned.
