A bride and groom from Co. Kilkenny recently celebrated their wedding in typical farmer fashion, with some wedding photos to remember.
Mark Stanley and his new bride, Michelle O’Brien, recently got married in Co. Kilkenny. Their wedding was held on Friday, October 5th, with the couple using their wedding photos to celebrate the grooms farming background.
The couple decided to take their wedding photos with an unusual backdrop. Instead of a church, they lined up in a pyramid made of bales, as seen in the pictures about taken by Darragh McCann Stargaze Photography.
“Mark’s father, Bernie, lifted us up in a JCB teleporter.” The Bride Michelle explained to That’sFarming.
“Our photographer, Darragh McCann Stargaze Photography, was amazing. He got up in the teleporter to capture the snap. We had a drone for aerial footage too.” She continued.
Groom Mark, from Glashare, Johnstown, is an active farmer himself and was the man responsible for setting up the bale pyramid. The Kilkenny man was so dedicated to the cause that he set the bales up on the morning of his big day.
“He set up the bales the morning of the wedding.” Michelle said.
“His attitude is to go big or go home.” She concluded.
It seems neither of the newlywed couple were going to "bale" out on their big day.
