Trevor Kearns’ claim to fame is shearing over one million sheep.
A tattoo on his upper arm highlights the shearer’s major milestone memory. “I had that [tattoo] done a couple of weeks after I’d shorn my million [sheep].” Kearns explained to ABC Landline.
“I enjoy shearing, well, trying to shear a sheep properly, but the cross-bred sheep especially.”
“I’m only 62 kilos at the best of times and a lot of sheep now are up around the 80-90kg and some are heavier.”
“It’s very tiring – I get home, have a beer and then I want to go to sleep.” he added.
