The 70-year-old man — who was killed in a farm accident in Leap, Co. Cork on Monday afternoon (September 30th) — has been named as Thomas Hill.
The alarm was raised at approximately 1:30 pm when the farmer was discovered unresponsive and injured in a shed.
It has been reported that he was gored to death by a bull.
Gardaí and the emergency services attended the scene; however, he was pronounced dead a short while later. His remains were taken to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
