Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for eight counties.
The alert will come into effect in Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Tipperary, and Waterford at 8pm today (Sunday, July 26th) and is valid until 10am tomorrow (Monday, July 27th).
“Heavy rain tonight leading to accumulations of 20 to 30mm in places, with a risk of spot flooding.” the national forecaster warned.
