Gardaí in Limerick stopped this vehicle – which was carrying an “unsecured load” of pallets and was found to have no tax – on Tuesday (October 22nd).
Gardaí’s Mobility App showed that the vehicle had not been taxed in 1,432 days.
In a statement on social media, a spokesperson said: “Unsecured load ...... and a load of summonses for court too! #LimerickRPU seized this vehicle after our #MobilityApp showed us at this vehicle had not been taxed in YEARS!”
“The mobility App allows us to cut down on time spent back at the office. For more information on the correct way to secure a load, please see here." the statement concluded.
