The JJ McHugh Memorial Tractor Run will take place on Bank Holiday Easter Monday (April 22nd), with all money raised going to Mayo-Roscommon Hospice.
The annual event is held in memory of JJ McHugh, Cahir, Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo who died following a road traffic accident in 2012.
The McHugh family are renowned for their multi-prize winning Charolais herd which is managed under the ‘Rivergloir’ prefix by Jarlath, Margaret and family.
The 2019 run - which is being organised by the family - welcomes all types of tractors, vintage vehicles, and tractors to participate; an entry fee of €20 will apply.
Registration will take place in Julian’s of Midfield at 1 pm with the run due to commence at 2 pm sharp.
Music by Eunice Moran and refreshments in Julian’s of Midfield, with a raffle in the evening.
