5. The Paddy Dakar Motorbike Event

The 7th Paddy Dakar is an adventure bike event aimed at people who may not have been in any kind of competition in the past, or have any off-road experience. It can be described as 'orienteering on motorbikes, with off-road conditions and road rubber'.

A series of children's events will also take place over the weekend such as Bushcraft, Junior Paddy Dakar cycle and walk and a host of other kids' activities. Click here for more info.

4. Guiness Pro12: Leinster Rugby v Ospreys

Leinster Rugby is one of Ireland’s most successful teams. It has a giant line-up of awe-inspiring athletes who consistently impress when they hit the pitch.

In this edition of the Guinness Pro12 tournament, Leinster will be fighting off the Ospreys team with its trademark strength and might. The Welsh side is one of Wales’ four professional rugby teams and has performed with the skill that you’d expect from the great rugby-playing nation, being the first Welsh regional team to beat Australia back in 2006.
