Forest Train to visit Santa

  • This evening get yourself down to Avondale Forest Park, Rathdrum, Co Wicklow, to take the exciting forest train to visit Santa.

Experience the winter wonderland, with the rest of the family. Trains run every 30 minutes starting at 11 am to 8 pm and the journey lasts approximately one hour. The ideal family evening out! See here!

· Winter Wonderland at Westport House

Get yourself to Westport, Co.Mayo, before 6pm this evening with the family. Children receive the opportunity to meet Santa in his 18th century grotto, discuss their wish list and get a gift, while parents enjoy a seasonal glass of mulled wine.

The line-up includes a special story-time with Mrs. Claus in the Drawing Room, before decorating their own Yuletide log to take home for the Christmas table. Carol singing to follow, along with hopping on board the Westport House Express.
