56 four and five-star Limousin and Simmental cows - all in-calve to pedigree registered Limousin and Simmental sires - calving from January to March will go under the hammer.
The special entry from the herd - which participated in the BETTER Farm Beef Challenge - Teagasc programme - also includes ten five-star Limousin and Simmental heifers in-calve to 5-star Limousin bulls due from mid-January.
The herd's two stock bulls - a pedigree registered Limousin and a pedigree registered Simmental bull are being offered for sale.
"This is a herd of cows that have been carefully put together with the view to the future of suckler farming in mind at all times." A spokesperson for New Ross Mart said.
"It is a must sale for any farmer interested in acquiring some of the finest cows that have come to the market in the past number of years."
