A refrigerated container containing 50 beef carcasses, which was reported as stolen in Co. Armagh, has been recovered by Gardaí in Dundalk.
The 40ft container was taken from premises in the Red Lion Road area of Loughgall at 1am on Friday, December 6th.
When the unit was recovered by Gardaí, it was discovered that a "significant" amount of the beef had been removed, according to inspector Leslie Badger.
“This is a distinctive container and I am appealing to anyone with information, or who noticed any suspicious activity, to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 463 of 06/12/19.”
