Figures from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine’s database show that 62,520 sheep were slaughtered during the week commencing November 18th.

- Spring lambs: 53,385;
- Ewes and rams: 9,059;
- Light lambs: 0.

Prices
It has been reported that sheep quotes are rising, due to tighter supplies.
Factories are quoting up to €5.00/kg for lambs (prices are ranging from €4.70/kg upwards), while ewes are trading from €2.70-€3.00/kg.
