The farmer faced prosecution for driving a tractor with no insurance following an accident where he was not to blame.
Mr. Coleman Clarke, 64, appeared in court following the accident in November of 2016.
The court heard of how the accident occurred, Mr. Clarke had pulled in onto the verge to allow a car pass by.
The driver of the car got sun blinded momentarily and struck into the tractor.
Upon the Gardaí’s arrival on the scene they noticed the tractor had no insurance.
The court heard of how it was an unfortunate event, and that Mr. Clarke was not at fault.
Mr. Clarkes lawyers told the courts of his client’s bad health and asked for him to be given a chance.
The Judge, John Coughlan, dismissed the summons, giving Clarke another chance.
