Brisk trade at Roscommon’s second sale of 2020

There were bigger numbers on offer at Roscommon Mart’s second sale of the year, which was held on Friday, January 17th, according to Maura Quigley.

The manager noted that entries met with a brisk trade. “A good demand for all stock with the majority of lots getting sold.”

Heifers ranged from €2.22-€2.59/kg, while dry cows clicked €1.52-€1.87/kg. “The number of Bullocks on offer were small as a result of next week’s special sale,” Quigley added.

Dry cows made from €655 up to €1675/lot;

  • LMX – 685 KGS – €1215;
  • BBX – 690 KGS – €1165;
  • LM – 670 KGS – €1165;
