We took a poll to see how you enjoyed the ploughing and if the weather hampered the festivities. Check out the results below.

The ploughing has since come and gone, with many memories for all those who attended. But did you really enjoy the ploughing? We took a poll to see how our followers got on.

Out of all who cast their votes, 79% of those who took the poll say they really enjoyed themselves at this years ploughing, with 21% saying they did not. Presumably they were in attendance on the Wednesday, the day the rain poured down.

We also asked who would go back next year and a whopping 67% say they will be heading back rain, hail or snow. Meanwhile 15% said they would probably not be going back, with 18% saying their return will be dependent on the weather.

It rained hard and fast on the Wednesday of the National Ploughing Championships, but did the bad weather ruin all the action? 21% answered yes to this one, while 79% didn’t let the rain dampen their fun.

We also asked did our followers think the officials handled the flash flooding correctly and the results are in! A whopping 50% of the voters say there was nothing else they could have done, while 35% said they did handle them correctly. Meanwhile 15% were in disagreement, saying ploughing officials could have done more.

The results are in and the vast majority will be heading back again next year, ourselves included! No rain will stop us from enjoying the most hotly anticipated show on the agriculture calendar.
