Met Éireann has issued two separate status yellow rainfall warnings.
The first alert - which covers Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick - is valid from 12pm today (Friday, November 1st), until 23:59 on Saturday, November 2nd.
"From Friday afternoon to midnight on Saturday night, rainfall amounts of 30 to 60 mm with a risk of spot flooding. Highest amounts will be in Co. Kerry, especially in mountainous areas."
A separate status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Wexford, Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
"Overnight, west to southwest winds, veering northwesterly, will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 km/h with gusts of 90 to 110 Km/h, and higher in coastal and mountainous areas of Kerry and Cork."
The alert will come into effect at 11pm tonight and will remain in place until 6am tomorrow (Saturday, November 2nd).
