Two cows have died in England after a power cable fell on the farm of Dairy farmers, Emma Ead, 24 and her dad Alan, 51.
The two cows were heavily pregnant at the time of the incident.
The farm had experienced a power cut at dinner time on the day the cows died, but they didn’t think anything of it until they headed down the field to move some bullocks later on in the day.
"We got down to the field where the dairy cows were grazing and that’s when we saw them," Emma told the Cornish Guardian.
"At first we didn’t know what had happened, there were just these two cows lying flat out on the floor, it was weird."
"But when we got closer we saw the electricity cable and the steam coming from the group. Then we saw they were both dead."
Emma called the police who arrived with the fire service and the power company.
Engineers isolated the power supply, making the area safe.
Western Power confirmed the incident was caused due to damage of an insulator on the overhead power line.
