A cottage in Co. Mayo is being raffled in order to raise money for healthcare workers who have “brought Ireland through the COVID-19 pandemic”.

The owners of the property were both struck down by the coronavirus and feel extremely lucky to have survived.

They stated that the frontline workers showed “enormous courage” in outing themselves in danger every day.

They now want to acknowledge them by raising money as a gesture of their gratitude. “They can never be thanked enough for supporting the people and the country in its time of need.”
