The Sunrise Commercial Run took place yesterday, Sunday February 3rd, in Co. Kerry, with over eighty vehicles taking part.
The run took kicked off from Foilmore in Co. Kerry at 6:45am on the morning and there was a total of 22 trucks, 59 vans/busses and jeeps taking part. The run was held to highlight the work done by the South Kerry Mental Health Services and to raise some much-needed funds.
“81 vehicles set out on Sunday morning, February 3rd, at 6:45 on the Sunrise Commercial Run.” Alan Egan explained to That’sFarming.
“There were 22 trucks and 59 vans/buses and jeeps, in a bid to highlight mental health and to support the South Kerry Mental Health Group.” He explained.
Each vehicle paid a registration fee of €30 on the day and the run kicked off from Foilmore, taking in Dromid, Waterville, Comakista, Caherisveen on its journey, before the convoy made its way back to Foilmore.
Here attendees were treated to light refreshments at the Foilmore Community Centre and there was also some spot prizes handed out on the night.
