A spokesperson for the fire service said: “We were called at 4.39 pm to Holt Fleet Road in Ombersley. We sent nine appliances to the scene including a water carrier and a specialist foam unit. A total of 55 firefighters attended the scene.”

The owner of the shop took to social media to express their sorrow following the incident, saying: “I’m so sorry to all of our customers but it looks like we can’t open anymore.”

“Thank you so much for all of your support. I’m totally gutted. Me and the team tried so hard to make the shop great, and I believed we finally did it. Again, I’m sorry we can’t support our loyal customers anymore.”
