The owner of some wandering sheep has been located following a plea made on social media.
Joe Molloy made the appeal for the owners of the sheep on Monday, February 11th, after they turned up on his property in the Drumcliffe area of Co. Sligo and began grazing his hedgerows, as reported by us here.
Neighbor says they're probably a Valentine's gift from a sheepish admirer. I'm moving back to Dublin where neighbours don't talk... https://t.co/IDigo5avJN— Joe Molloy (@FreelanceWebDev) 12 February 2019
There were five sheep in total, all blackfaced horned ewes and suspected to be in-lamb. Mr. Joe Molloy has now reported via his Twitter handle, @FreelanceWebDev, late last night (February 12th) that the owner of the sheep had now been located, joking they had better come with a shovel.
