The death has occurred of Eugene Buttle, Wexford vice-president of the National Ploughing Association (NPA).
Buttle, described as ‘one of the ploughing’s greats’, passed away peacefully at his home.
The NPA issued their sincerest condolences to the family of the ploughing stalwart in a recent social media post.
A spokesperson for the organisation stated that the funeral was broadcast on rip.ie by webcam at 12pm, Wednesday, April 8th.
