The National Cattle Breeding Centre (NCBC) has acquired two Hereford bulls - Fisher 1 Profile P456 and Barwise 1 Ricochet - from the U.K recently.
Releasing a statement on Facebook, Hereford Cattle Society UK said: “Fisher 1 Profile P456 from Reg Hutchings was recently exported to National Cattle Breeding Centre, Ireland.”
“This bull is by Fisher 1 Jaguar J347 and out of Fisher 1 Susan H338.”
Progressive Genetics has described Profile (HE5346) as a “really exciting homozygous polled Hereford bull.”
“He will be part of our Beef on Dairy Test program this year, but we also expect him to be very desirable for suckler farmers.” the company outlined in a social media post.
Barwise 1 Ricochet
Barwise 1 Ricochet – a March-2018-born bull from Carolyn Fletcher – has joined Profile; he is by Square-D Tortuga 953T and out of Barwise 1 Anni-Fern.
