The annual Freemont Exotic Animal Auction was held in Nebraska, USA, on Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th.
The sale featured an abundance of unusual animals, such as a Unicorn Angora Goat, A young Zebra and bottle-fed water buffalo bull calf. The hot topic in the aftermath of the auction, was the sale of a four-month-old miniature White Highland heifer calf.
“It has got to be the littlest White Highlander calf you have ever seen.” The auctioneer exclaimed.
The calf was measured at just 27inches tall prior to the sale and is not expected to grow too big. Following a flurry of bids, the hammer eventually fell at $3,800 or €3305.
