No further milk rise from 2 more processors
Dairygold and Kerry have joined Glanbia and Lakeland in their halt in milk prices.
Dairygold and Kerry milk boards met today to outline how they will not be giving a price increase for February’s milk. The news comes on the back of yesterdays announcements by Glanbia and Lakeland respectively that they too will not increase their milk price.
Dairygold’s milk price stands at 31.5c/l while Kerry’s stands at 31 c/L. (both figures include VAT)
Many have speculated that the stagnant milk price is a reflection of last week’s GDT results which took a nose dive.
Further milk processors should release their milk price later this week.
