A man, aged in his 50s, has died in a farm accident in Co. Cavan.
The incident occurred in the Mountnugent area in the county earlier this morning (Wednesday, April 1st).
Anglo Celt reports that a tractor was involved in the incident. The farmer was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Cavan General Hospital.
The accident is being investigated by the Health and Safety Authority (HSA).
