A farm accident has claimed the life of a man, aged in his 70s.
The incident occurred in the Ballinhassig area in Co. Cork earlier this evening (Saturday, May 9th).
It is understood that the farmer sustained fatal injuries after he was attacked by a bull.
The emergency services arrived on-farm; however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
