A machinery and commercial auction will take place at Athleague GAA Pitch this Saturday (March 30th) at 12 noon.
Over 70 lots are entered to date including c.10 lots of plant from Roscommon County Council (vans & commercial vehicles), according to Connaughton Auctioneers.
Matthew Donnellan will return once again this year to officiate as auctioneer on the day; entries can be viewed from 10am.
- 2010 New Holland 6020;
- Bob Cat Self-Propelled;
- 2004 Ford Transit Connect;
- 2001 Citoren Berlingo;
- 30-ft bale trailer;
- Hydraulic rams;
- Reaper Mowing Machine – Vintage (129-years-old);
- A range of trailers;
- Rotary Mower;
- Massey Ferguson Tractor;
- Fertiliser spreaders;
- Pressure washer.
- “There is a change from last year and all lots will be sold at their location in the auction and the auctioneer and clerk will be moving around accordingly.” A spokesperson for Connaughton Auctioneers said.
All lots entered into the Auction can be dropped off to the Auction site from 3pm on Friday (March 29th) and up to 9am on auction day.
Any lot withdrawn from auction, not sold or purchased must be removed from the site by 8pm on auction day unless alternative arrangements are agreed with the auctioneer.
A spokesperson confirmed that there will be full security on-site throughout this period.
Entry to the Auction is free and everybody is welcome to attend.
The registration fee for any lot is €20 and there will be no other fee for sellers, whether they sell or not.
