A Limousin-sired heifer pushed up to £5,600 (approximately €6,525) at Hexham and Northern Marts’ sale of store cattle with show potential in the UK earlier this month.
The 7-month-old heifer followed hot on the heels of another Hightown Jacko daughter which made over €10,700 recently as reported by us here.
The “sweet and sparky” heifer surpassed the previous centre record of £4,300, which was set in 2015. She was bred by John Smith-Jackson acquired by Messrs Wilkinson and Marwood, Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
