Varadkar has made his views known publicly on Brexit and its understood his visit will be to reiterate his concerns that there will need to be a satisfactory solution to border issues.
The meeting comes after May’s Italian speech last Friday where she outlined her proposed two year transition period for the UK after it leaves the EU.
